Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo T5x 5G will launch in India on March 17, 2026, at 12 PM IST. Positioned as a performance-driven mid-range successor to the T4x, it is being marketed with the tagline "Get Set Turbo."


Key Specifications & Features

The T5x aims to dominate the sub-₹23,000 segment by focusing on two pillars: endurance and raw speed.

  • Massive Battery: It features a 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Vivo claims is the largest in its segment. It supports 44W fast charging and is designed to handle heavy gaming and streaming without overheating.

  • Processor: Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. Vivo has teased an AnTuTu score exceeding 1 million, making it one of the fastest phones in its price bracket.

  • Display: Expected to feature a 6.72-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of around 1,200 nits.

  • Camera: A primary 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor (supporting 4K video) leads the rear setup, while the front is rumored to get a significant bump to a 32MP selfie camera.

  • Durability: Rare for this price point, the device carries dual IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering high resistance to water pressure and dust.

  • Software: It will launch with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with a promise of two major OS updates and four years of security patches.
