The phone features a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with ultra-sharp 2K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. With a peak brightness of around 3,500 nits, the screen remains crystal clear even under direct sunlight. What makes the Pro Max unique is its secondary 2.9-inch AMOLED rear display, which can be used for quick notifications, checking the time, controlling music, or even framing selfies with the main rear cameras.

  • A 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom for crisp close-ups.

Powering the device is a 7,500 mAh battery, which is larger than most competitors in this range. It supports 100 W wired fast charging, 50 W wireless charging, and even reverse wireless charging at 22.5 W, allowing you to charge accessories or another smartphone wirelessly.

Durability and Extras

The Pro Max is IP68 water and dust resistant, but it goes a step further by surviving underwater depths of up to 6 meters, making it one of the most durable flagships. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, ultra-wideband (UWB) support for precise device connectivity, and improved stereo speakers for immersive audio.

Price and Availability

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is currently launched in China with a starting price of around CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹74,700 in India for the base 12 GB + 512 GB variant). The phone is expected to launch in India in early 2026, but Xiaomi has not given an official date yet.
